Zablozki’s: Dark cherry wood makes up the walls, ceiling, floor, and bar, giving this slightly hip townie bar a touch of class. Williamsburg isn’t known for its after-work crowd, as most locals are “freelance,” but Zablozki’s draws a decent-sized crowd of 30-something Brooklynites to their happy hour where a dozen beers are on tap. It’s the little things that let us know that they care: sporadically placed fresh flowers, gratis spicy pretzel mix, a flat-screen TV, and an immaculate pool table are a few of the nice touches. In fair weather, the front opens up for people-watching and cavorting with smokers. |
