Yogi's: Bras, hats, balloons, flags, stirrups, and TVs showing sports all hang high at this bawdy, unrepentant American classic. It’s all about Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and getting ripped with your buddies—whether they’re your mates from college or AA. There’s always lots of hooting and hollering, and empty cans, darts, and even shot glasses flying at this dive bar. The bartender yells, curses, and keeps barflies entertained with her (yes, her) crude sexual comments. She pours shots of tequila and Tabasco, proclaiming, “Some call these Prairie Farts, but I call ’em Fire in the Hole.” Formerly the Bear Bar, a 15-foot wooden bear still stands guard out front, warding off the faint of heart. |
