Wine Boutique: Talk to the staff at Wine Boutique in the rear of Savore, and they will tell you that the wine and light fare menus are designed to spark a gastrointestinal conversation. They don’t mean that you’ll need to reach for a bottle of Tums. Nor are they "Cheese Whisperers." But each selection of cheese and meat is picked explicitly to bring out the flavors of the world’s best wines. The selection is huge, but they make it easy for the dullards among us by putting together a Wines of the Week list. Wednesdays are BYOB, and they match the food to your wine. The atmosphere is easygoing. How could it not be, when you’re encouraged to hear the approval from a deeper place inside you? |
