The bar/lounge’s modern design implies it wants to be more than an afterthought to the restaurant in back, but rarely staying open until midnight says otherwise. A TV plays overhead, the customers' drinks of choice range from sake to beer, and the visitors themselves range from Wall Street traders to SoHo area sculptors. The eclectic bar is simply following suit with the kitchen, which mixes French accents and Japanese standards producing some of the oddest sushi you’ll ever see. The space itself flows nicely thanks to colorful aquariums and mini waterfalls that some may find over the top, but ADD sufferers will find…whatever, they’ll forget it in five minutes anyway.
