Vivo: You can never have too much Italian wine in one square city block, (or can you?). I mean let’s face it: basically any addition to the somewhat bland 2nd Ave. dining scene on the UES is a welcome one. For certain, you’ll welcome the wine list, with its 50 or so reasonably-priced offerings. True to the trend of globalization, this list includes, but is not limited to, the products of its homeland. Stopping in for a spritz of prosecco or a bottle of Barolo are also highly recommended activities. It's hard not to like the well-priced happy hour, with mixed cocktails more reasonable than what most places make you shell out for a Bud Light. Go for it and have a bellini. |
