Vinegar Hill House: Wedged between Dumbo and the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Vinegar Hill House is a small note-worthy restaurant from Sam Buffa and Jean Adamson. You’ll never get the same thing twice, since the menu changes weekly. It serves affordable wines and a menu of exceptional seasonal dishes. The wine and cocktail menus are both extensive. A little back story that adds to its charm—husband and wife, Sam and Jean, lived in the house out back and built this cozy, 50-seat restaurant out of mostly re-used materials they collected over the years.
