Valhalla:
You don’t have to be Thor to enter Valhalla, the new rustic and heavy-looking Ninth Avenue bar that’s open to warriors and office workers alike. Named for the “Hall of the Slain” featured in Norse mythology, Valhalla is decked out with wood-paneled walls, dark wood benches, and worn chandeliers supplying minimal light (bring your own breast plates and horned hats). A large selection of beer flows freely along with a nice lineup of single-malt Scotch, while feasting is covered by an eclectic international menu. The paradise also offers a late-night snacking menu and brunch on the weekends. Sure sounds like weekend warrior heaven in Hell’s Kitchen.
Valhalla has a fantastic selection of beer, everything from a Kolsch from Gaffels of Koln, Germany to a large selection of local beers that certainly are ready to impress. With a total of 33 beers on tap and 45 bottles, this is a place to come to try something new. Look at the blackboard which has a number of good recommendations from the staff.

BIG SCREENS!!!
Two giant Samsung screens make this the place to watch the big events.
Huge beer selection, single malt flights and plenty of open space.
