Tutto il Giorno: Across the street from the Sag Harbor marina you’ll find Tutto il Giorno, a small, rustic, contemporary Italian restaurant that was recently reopened by Gabby Karan De Felice (whose mother, Donna Karan, operates Urban Zen nestled next door). This eatery’s Executive Chef Maurizio Marfoglia (formerly of Manhattan’s Barolo and Coco Pazzo) uses mostly locally-grown, seasonal ingredients. If you’re looking for a snack before heading offshore, true to its name, the restaurant serves food “all day,” plus there’s prepared food available for takeout. Unfortunately, the service here is rather slow and not the friendliest, and given that the fare is rather pricey for classic Italian food (appetizers range from $13-$19 and main courses are $20-$36), this place might remind you of Manhattan. |
