Tupelo Grill:
On your way to the game and looking for a decent meal nearby without the fuss of a typical Midtown haunt? Tupelo offers straightforward dining: The portions are big and you get what you order—chilled, grilled, hot, cold, dressed, sauced, you name it. Unlike similar grills, the airy style of light woods and high windows brightens a meal. Veggie lovers take note—the motto here is meat, fish, and more meat, so either nosh on a salad or pack your own bag meal. Steak Elvis (also known as “heart attack on a plate”) is one way to go happily…to the nearby garden, that is. Friendly bartenders and a full bar with classic cocktails will tide you over ’til game time.
We go to Tupelo 3x times a week and love it. The food is consistently good, the cocktails pretty strong, and the staff way friendly. It's a steakhouse and neighborhood bar.
