Triumph Room
Most people don’t think of Hell’s Kitchen for a night of dancing. So when you hear about Triumph Room, the club half of the supper club Providence, it’s enough to peak your interest. Autographed CDs (probably left over from its days as Le Bar Bat) decorate the walls, while low tables with plush red leather seats circle a spacious dance floor. A mix of R&B, rock, and hip-hop are played to a crowd that takes advantage of the club’s proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel and its relaxed velvet rope policy. A creative cocktail list, including the champagne mojito and blue-cheese-stuffed olive martini, ensure that this will do the job if it’s a night of scene-free dancing you’re after.

So Far another Boo

Will be going there this Saturday night for dinner and later to the Triumph for drinks to celebrate a Bachlorette night. According to the website, just RSVP for a Bachlorette/girls group and receive "special perks" including open bar from 10-11. When I called to RSVP they said that the website is wrong and the "special perks" deal doesn't exist anymore even though it still says so on the website. Fix it guys. Hopefully we still have a great time, too late to change plans.

BOOOOO

Went to the triumph room this saturday night, 10 friends and i all RSVP'd to the email address that the website gives you. Then got there around 11, had to wait in line, which their website also prides itself on not having, and the girls at the door tried to charge us all $20 saying they didnt know anything about the link that THEIR OWN website has. Eventually they let us in, and instead charged the guy with us $31 dollars. Ridiculous. The DJ's both sucked and the music and lights went off about 4 times throughout the night. I feel bad for the management here because they do not know how to run a restaurant or club.
