If you’re over the Williamsburg trend of gratis food with drink purchases (can you really ever be over free bar food?), even if it’s the greasiest basket of fried taters, Trash tries other tactics of luring you in. The venue would like you to believe the main draw is the live music in the back room, where a variety of rock bands and groups looking to break into the industry play throughout the week. If the cover charge for the back, starting around $6, seems steep for these parts, don’t worry. From 8pm-9pm every night you can drink yourself silly at the open bar in the room, and if you don’t discover the next great thing, you can plop down on real car benches and bucket seats, sip your beer, and be thankful that you’re too drunk to care. |
