You’d have to be a total tool to come to this dingy dive. Seriously, what do you expect from a gay bar near East 91st Street? Yes, there are plenty of hot guys here—unfortunately, they’re all in the pornos showing on the TV. And sure, the bar is cruisey—on the rare occasion when there are more than six people here at once (including the bartender). Maybe you’ll even manage to find a screw in this box, especially if you head downstairs, but you’ll meet more “handy” men by heading downtown. Yet before you hop on the 6, keep in mind perhaps the one redeeming quality here: $20 buys all the beer you can drink on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, something to consider when you’re only looking to get hammered.
