Tommy's Tavern: On most nights, this remote dive bar is a dark, low-key spot with a solitary pool table, classic rock jukebox, and Tommy (or his mother) tending bar. But what appears to be just a local joint for cheap beers and friendly faces has started to lead a different life on Saturday nights. As of late, the rock promoter Todd P. has booked the bar with underground bands, thereby turning the random dive into a late-night rave where hipsters dance in the room in the back.
