Tini Wine Bar: Entering Tini feels like walking into a moody Manhattan living room – and it's about that size. A few thirty-something friends either lounge on an overstuffed white couch or hover over one of the four tables. Living up to its name, Tini gets crammed with fewer people than the available brands of bottled beer (about eleven). Orders of cappuccino compete with organic red wine, even at 11pm. A bar in coffee shop’s clothing, Tini would not be complete without the Enya-ish music humming in the background, and Scrabble or Boggle helping to pass the candle-lit hours. And if you want to take a piece of Red Hook home with you, support local artists by purchasing a water color or oil, hanging ever so anxiously on the wall. |
