The Tasting Room: With just 11 tables and 25 seats, there’s certainly a communal feel at work here. Despite a lack of space, the Tasting Room carries 300 wines by the bottle, and over 10 by the glass. There’s no need for a bar here as neither liquor nor beer is offered—the drink menu reads like the props list from the movie Sideways. All of the New American dishes are made with local organic ingredients, and the items change daily. Tasting Room is a great place for a date or an intimate group, as they don’t accept reservations for more than five people unless that group wishes to rent out the place, which basically means inviting another couple or two. There’s no room for arguing that this dark little wooden room has an incomparable charm…literally. |
