The Pinch Bar & Grill: Reminiscent of your old fraternity house (except that this place is actually kept clean and there’s less chance of sex), street signs decorate the walls and dartboards line the back of this mundane bar. An over-sized plasma-screen television is mounted above the bar, providing non-stop eye candy for sports lovers. On Tuesday nights the back room hosts a comedy night where local emerging comics guarantee (or at least try to) a few laughs; on other nights the back room hosts live music and DJs. Don’t expect to hear the next Gnarls Barkley, but it beats the Hooties-heavy soundtrack of your old Sigma Nu keggers. |
