The Library: Not only is there no old librarian shushing you in this library, you can talk as loud as you want—they even have videogames! But if Ms. Pac-Man is not your thing—although who doesn’t love a good round of this dot-gobbling goddess—there are stools up front and booths in the back for less competitive objectives. At the bar, under hanging paper lanterns and across from plastic skulls left over from Halloweens past, the absence of a decorator is apparent and adds to the charm. Dark maroon walls lead down the narrow corridor, past a jukebox and shelves of random books to a large screen on the back wall where horror flicks and karate films are projected all night long. So sit back and watch the films roll to that night’s picks on the jukebox, grab a book off the shelf, or kick back any day of the week with their happy hour 2-for-1 drink specials.
