The Hook & Ladder: If you’re hoping that the firemen patches lining the walls are a sure sign that this is where the uniformed hotties hang, you’ll be disappointed to see that the only off-duty patrons in this Murray Hill haunt are employees. On karaoke Tuesdays and all-you-can-drink Thursdays, the crowd thankfully ventures off the payroll, as NYU med students oft crawl over from the nearby hospital for a few CCs of beer. But with a back patio complete with pool table and TV, and a jukebox and arcade games lurking inside, there’s enough turf to go around. |
