If Tara Reid were a gay man, she’d definitely be sprawled on the sidewalk outside this West Village bar. This aviation-inspired hotspot is a drinker’s Taradise. The Hangar will leave you hung over with weekend beer blasts, a happy hour that lasts the entire day on Tuesdays, and $3 Long Island Iced Teas on Wednesdays, when the bar also hosts a $100 pool tournament. Sunday’s go-go contest at 8pm also helps lure a mainly jeans-and-t-shirt crowd, which means that even though your new Gucci slacks may enhance your butt, you’ll make an ass of yourself flaunting them here. Likewise, any attitude or discussion of protein shakes may be OK in Chelsea, but it doesn’t fly at The Hangar.
