This exclusive Chelsea haunt, making its debut during the annual Tribeca Film Festival celebrations, offers an ambassador program in which keys are offered to 125 members of the "New York City elite," who then have the opportunity to add five to 10 "members." These members, in turn, are able to invite guests. Talk about getting the run-around. Members will tote gold swipe cards that will let them generate charity donations or earn back money -- so they can be elitist and thrifty as they swill their $16 cocktails. But if you manage to make it in, order the bacon and oyster Hushpuppies off the "simple" menu, and you too can live like a blue-blood. |
