The Delancey: When you first walk up to The Delancey you’ll be thrown off by the jumpsuit-wearing ultra-hipsters that stroll out. But upon further inspection, you’ll find a great space for private gatherings, a live music venue on the lower level, and a rooftop that practically puts you within spitball distance of the Williamsburg Bridge. The Delancey’s ground floor has a bumping DJ with video screen graphics and a double-sided fireplace, while the bar on the roof boasts a Zen waterfall, garden foliage, and seating aplenty. Though a bar positioned between Williamsburg and the Lower East Side naturally sees its fair share of artsy tarts, the crowd is truly mixed and is largely dependent on what band’s playing that night. |
