The Carriage Inn: Without getting too into ourselves, we like to think that if you’re reading Shecky’s you’re young, hip, cool, and looking for a scene that will embrace you and let your inner fabulousness fly free. If that is indeed the case, The Carriage Inn is absolutely not the place. If, however, you are either a senior citizen, adore watching and betting on sports and need a TV at your table, don’t mind that the place should come with a warning from the Surgeon General, or want to commit social suicide, go right on in. One upside: Just like everything else in this bar, the beers are cheap, with $3 bottles during the Monday-Friday happy hour (4pm-7pm). |
