The Chelsea outpost of the Blarney Stone chain may pour a stiff drink, but it’s also not the most pleasant place in Manhattan to have one. Grimy, dark, and dirty, this Blarney Stone will leave you feeling anything but lucky as you toss back a few with blue-collar employees on their way home from—or maybe on their way to—the job. While there are pictures of local sports heroes adorning the walls, this is anything but a sports bar, though you can chow down on a corned beef and brisket sandwich while gulping down a cold brew.
