It didn’t take long for this new bar to become home to a classic party. Every Saturday The Annex hosts DJ Nick Marc’s Brit rock/pop party that spent the last 10 years at Don Hill’s. You’d move too if your fresh new place had leather booths with a perfect view of both the stage and bar, a sound system that would make Les Paul proud, and a second-floor bal-cony area that makes everyone look like a VIP. And let’s not forget the choice LES location. The party has seen the likes of the Strokes and Spacehog, so expect more major acts to pop up. There’s no sign, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for the fur-coat-wearing bouncer that sets this spot apart from the neighborhood’s other new establishments.
