Now this feels like a nightclub. Not a lounge, not a mega-club, but a nightclub. Dark on the outside and almost as dim within, Mark Birnbaum of Aer and Eugene Remm, who handled Level V’s party-throwing duties, have officially cooked up the Meatpacking District’s most lively hotspot of the moment and celebs like Diddy have already started trickling in. The room itself is long, subtle, and crowded with tables lining the walls. A small bar area gives good reason to splurge on bottle service, which in all likelihood, is your only way in anyway. The crowd skews young, which means celeb DJs playing fast and furious mixes of rock, hip-hop, and whatever else models can dance to at--or atop--their tables.
It was well worth the wait to get in to tenjune. Despite other comments, I thought the crowd was beautiful... yes, there were some suits at tables but you'll find that at any club of this nature. The dj was great and the energy was incredible. I highly recommend it Tenjune if you want a fun night of dancing
