Ted's Montana Grill: So considering all that Ted Turner owns, why not throw some hairy bison in the mix? The newest, and 50th, outpost of his Big Sky chain has opened right here in the Big Apple, and it’s sure to be the hub for many an upcoming power lunch. The Grill’s dining room is dressed up with elevated dark leather banquettes, butcher paper (shocker) atop the tables, and checked cloth napkins. The long, dark bar that will no doubt specialize in the midday Manhattan, is accented with an old-fashioned brass cash register that will surely be full in no time. The menu? Believe it or not, it’s pretty meat heavy—some 20 different burgers are available in either beef or bison. But who really wants that silly beef stuff, anyway? |
