t.b.d.:
So new that its owners hastily chose a soulless name, t.b.d. is an ode to swank that sticks out in this quiet corner of Greenpoint. Large and industrial, this MoMa-ready space is decorated with boxy furniture and three flat-screen TVs showing old movies and video installations. Expect a mixed crowd ranging from the leather-suited to the lumberjack plaid-clad chugging one of the 12 beers on tap. Or, for the less picky, there's a “bucket of crap”—$15 worth of cheap canned beer in a bucket of ice. This misfit bar is sure to find its niche when residents of Magic Johnson’s new condo development move in down the block.
the "huge" (for new york) yard out back and a spacious comfortable interior make this place a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I stoped by this place last night. Good crowd, but not too crowded. Its really stylish and friendly. Really good if you want to get together to talk with friends instead of yelling over blasting music
