Swing 46 Jazz & Supper Club: The 1940s are alive and kicking through the doors of Swing 46. Or should we say dancing? The main room is like something out of a Fred Astaire movie—red walls, a 16-piece band, and those great high-back leather booths that make you feel like a movie star. It’s no secret people come to dance here. Swing is the thing, obviously, but you can put your Gregory Hines moves to the test on Sundays during Buster Brown’s tap jam. Even first-timers can join in the fun; lessons for both swing and tap are included in the $10 cover. And if you need food to fuel the dancing fool you are, sustenance comes in the form of coconut shrimp, herb-crusted steaks, and of course, the Swing 46, a mix of vodka, raspberry, chocolate, and champagne. |
