Sweetiepie: So this is where Alice and the Wonderland crew must stop for happy hour or brunch when they're craving absinthe and chocolate cake. With floor-to-ceiling mirrors, candy-apple-red booths, and a golden birdcage in front, Sweetiepie comes off like a smashingly seedy designer ice cream parlour. Even with its shiny surfaces and whimsical menu full of silver dollar pancakes and $75 sundaes, something's not quite right. Location? Pricing? The fact that Sex and the City is no longer around to film the ladies boozing here or that Chuck Bass re-bought The Box instead of investing into new realty? Whatever the reason, people aren't yet pulling out the plastic for a sugary night or daytime snack at Sweetiepie. If things don't blow up for Valentine's Day or Veruca Salt-style birthdays in the back room, surely a creepy-sexy-cool strip club could utilize the décor.
