Check out the Stoned Crow, a popular hangout among NYU students and neighborhood regulars because of its atmosphere (vaulted ceilings and a cool down-home vibe) and its low-priced drinks ($5 and under). And don’t be afraid of the crows adorning the rafters—they’re stuffed, just like you’ll be after chowing down on the free baskets of salt-and-pepper popcorn being passed around. While downing some cheap beers you can check out the cool concert and movie posters bedecking the walls, with everyone from Humphrey Bogart to Beyonce making an appearance. And when you’ve had enough to drink—like that’s ever going to happen—head to the back room for some billiards. Happy hour runs from 4pm-8pm.
