Stone Rose: Located on the top floor of the shiny, new, and cold as steel Time Warner Center lies a yuppie lounge befitting such a big-money, heavy-attitude scene. The Stone Rose is swanky, with lots of couches and low tables to lounge it up in style, and the sounds of everyone else’s important conversations are usually drowned out by the typically nondescript Euro/house music playing. The cocktail waitresses are gorgeous, though their little black dresses wouldn’t be out of place at Scores. More upsides include the stunning view of Columbus Circle and Central Park through the huge windows, and the place has ample room to move and breathe. All in all, Stone Rose is best enjoyed when someone else is paying. |
