SouthWest NY: Even after a tough day on the trading room floor, it’s still amazing how much money the B&T banker crowd will dole out for a few drinks and a nacho plate. Those with expense accounts pile into SouthWest NY to discuss…whatever it is they discuss over platters of overpriced Southwestern grub. The staff leaves something to be desired (dude, it’s called waiter “service”), but really, what’s an empty water glass (or three) when you’ve got Tex-Mex, tequila, and 13,000 sprawling square feet overlooking the water? It’s obvious that location is king, so the sun-soaking suits will just have to deal with a night of second-rate service. |
