wonderful the ambiance is wonderful and the people are even better. the bartender (Yann) gave a wonderful pairing suggestion for the food that we ordered. In addition everything was delicious and I am ready to go back for more. Did I mention that I actually did go back there for my birthday (and Christof was wonderfully accomodating. he even set aside an area for my party without hesitation)? Solex offers a casual, unpressured atmosphere and something about this modern nook screams romance. Maybe it’s the sexy wines served by a knowledgeable bartender. Or the close quarters, which make walking to the bathroom a chance to brush up against that guy you’ve been ogling. Either way, this classy wine bar will win over anyone with an ounce of taste.
