Sheridan Square: CLOSED.
After the recent switch of its head chef (Franklin Becker has replaced Gary Robins), look for more affordable price points from Sheridan Square’s seasonal, wood-fired American menu. Scarf down on foie gras ravioli in a plush, Nantucket-esque dining room or at one of 70 sidewalk seats. Seventh Avenue South may have once been beatnik central, but the polished crowd here is far removed from the chain-smoking poets of yore. Witness professionals mingling at the bar, where Rainlove Lampariello's mixology works better than any mating call. Try a rhubarb daiquiri or a smoked salt margarita, and choose from more than 250 wines. |
