Despite the wealth of dining options in the city, there are still curiously few Australian eateries, and most of those that do exist are overly fancy and pricey. Not so with Sheep Station, a laid-back Australian-style pub in Park Slope's northwest corner. Sip authentic wines and beers from Australia and New Zealand, and snack on casual grub like minced meat pies ($6) and fish and chips ($12). Just try to limit your "you call that a knife?" jokes until after you leave.
