Ryan’s Irish Pub: What better to greet you at the front door of Ryan’s Irish Pub than a photo of U2’s Bono himself? The Irish theme, however, does not extend much further than this. The deep maroon walls and black ceiling give the bar a dark, yet laid-back feel. While the counter is filled with chaps pounding back pints, you can take a load off at a table fashioned out of a beer barrel; televisions and a dartboard decorate the walls. Clearly this place isn’t deviating too much from the “Irish Bar 101” guidebook, but with a 3:1 male-to-female ratio, this is a prime man-hunting destination for ladies on the prowl. Provided they like noisy frat boys, of course. |
