Riviera Café & Sports Bar: If you were to walk into Riviera during a Red Sox game and then return later in the week when there wasn’t one playing, you’d swear that they were different bars—and that’s not just the beer talking. “Where do all the BoSox fans come from?” you ask. Hmmm, Boston? But in New York they all seem to go to Riviera. It makes sense—the place is void of any character, save what seems like 50 TVs, cheap bar food, and loads of beer. The outdoor seating makes for some great people-watching too. Unfortunately, those people are usually wearing David Ortiz jerseys. |
