Rififi: Three! Two! One! Action! At first glance, Rififi looks like any other East Village dive: black and maroon walls, red crushed velvet seats...been there, bought the ironic T-shirt. But look closer for a big surprise—Rififi has an honest-to-Pete movie theater set up in the back. Each night, there’s a different genre (Mon-days are reserved for horror flicks, natch). All are free of charge (take that, AMC!) and their happy hour is all about the $3 brews. Take date night to a whole new level (of thrift, anyway). Just be sure to get there early to get a good seat. |
