Reservoir: A reservoir is by definition a large tank or natural/artificial lake used to collect liquid for human consumption. Reservoir the bar, on the other hand, collects a whole lot of beer for human consumption. The goldfish in the tank behind the bar and bartenders (the only sober fellows around) can attest to that. Primarily a NYU after-class/after-work hangout, this locale serves over 30 beers paired with an uncreative pub menu: Two chili dogs for under five bucks are particularly tempting. Above the fish tank, a boar is mounted with a sign reading, “I do not serve beer to minors or intoxicated people.” Never cross a talking boar, people. |
