As far as steel diner cars go, Relish is about as sleek and sophisticated as they come. With its brown vinyl stools, cozy booths, and muted red lighting, you feel like you are stepping into a film noir flick. Unfortunately, waiting at the bar for a drink can feel like it took 40 years. The retro joint is always crowded, filled with a mix of older couples enjoying a late-night meal and hipsters stopping in for an after-dinner drink. The restaurant offers hearty meal portions, which includes steak frites and a juicy grilled sirloin burger. Check out the generous brunch menu and outdoor patio/garden, which opens for the summer.
