Primehouse: It's all about the meat—and yes, we mean that in more ways than one. Between the jazzy decor and the "prime" location, this bar/eatery sure is a Grade A opportunity to wander the turf. Turns out, the latest addition to Stephen Hanson's empire is about the size of a cattle ranch and looks like it was designed by Philip K. Dick, with its graphic black and white marble tiled floor and a swank interior to match. The front bar is strictly grazing territory, where it appears that all times of year are mating season. Mosey on up to the bar for a signature cocktail by Hanson ingenue, Eben Klemm. The Dirty Bull always gets attention—if you're looking for a pickup line. The lineup of well-heeled and well-suited after work singles is always worth a once-over. Go for the gusto and order up the Shellfish Empire, then share. Better yet, go for the beef. The house-owned Prime 207L, Black Angus to be precise; that part is no bull. |
