Perhaps your first instinct is to groan, “Another tapas place?” But you can’t diss the entire Mediterranean culinary tradition just because a few big city chefs have run this restaurant concept into the ground. At Prespa, the newly-opened Murray Hill taparia, executive chef Richard Farnabe (Prime, Mercer Kitchen) has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, from Black Risotto to tender lamb. Cocktails are Mediterranean-inspired: Italian Lemonade and the dreamy-sounding French Riviera.
