Plug Uglies: A regular stop for post-frat types and current co-eds, Plug Uglies has the lovely aroma of sweat, beer, and Greek life. A thorough sampling of the dozen beers on tap will blur the notion of every smell. The two-hour $10 all-you-can-drink Saturdays (8pm-10pm) convinces many patrons to rock out to the jukebox tracks while celebrating their shuffleboard victories—yes, there’s actually a shuffleboard in the bar’s rear. If you’re not up for the shuffleboard venture there’s a pool table beside it and plenty of sports teams and competitive off-duty (we hope they’re off-duty) cops to play a serious round, particularly after a few serious rounds of beer. |
