Planet Hollywood: Planet Hollywood once boasted testosterone-laden owners Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stallone. Where are they now? Okay, so the “Governator” may be busy but, regardless, those guys are apparently not frequenting this aging movie theme-styled eatery. The memorabilia is still in stock but the rest of the place looks in need of an overhaul. Nevertheless, tourists from Times Square flock here in search of their favorite star’s shiny robe or walking stick and settle in for an evening of “dining with the star’s souvenirs.” The bar is an uninviting tiny space, so stick to a table. Food and drinks are average (and overpriced), but the staff is thankfully non-Hollywood. |
