Perle: Perle, whose name is a francophone interpretation of the street on which it resides, is a sweet little French café and brasserie that just landed in the Financial District. Wall Streeters on lunch break and neighborhood residents will be glad just to have another dining option, particularly since the prices are recession appropriate. Chef Franck Hiorholzer’s traditional interpretations of French classics like Boeuf Bourguignon and Salade Niçoise aren’t about to win any creativity contests, but sometimes you need a little comforting familiarity—especially on someplace like Wall Street.
