One part chic neighborhood eatery (with some of the best Italian dishes including Lasagna better than yo mama’s and delectable Red Wine Braised Pork) and one part super hip drinking spot ($5 happy hour from 4-7pm which includes Pomegranate Cosmos and Peronis), Panino’Teca is worth the trip to Smith Street in Carroll Gardens. With an extensive and creative cocktail menu (including the Fanta, a Stoli Orange, Blood Orange Puree, and Aranciata mix, $8), well-selected batch of Italian wines, and one of the largest selections of after-dinner drinks (Digestivis and Grappas and Portos, oh my!), this ruby-red gem is as sparkling as the Prosecco and Lambrusco it serves. Snack on the meat and cheese boards or paninis (of course) at night, but don’t forget the incredible brunch they serve during the day. Bloody Marys for $4 anyone? The back garden rules in the summer.
Food you crave with a fantastic drink menu, plus the service is great and atmosphere is unbeatable. A great date spot or even to hang out with friends for a late snack and cocktails.
