But please don’t take those yummy concoctions away. Due to its proximity to Penn Station, you get exactly what you’d expect at O’Reilly’s: a steady crowd of suits from 4pm-7pm tying one on, then stumbling out to catch a train along the LIRR. Weekends here buzz with tourists and a blue-collar crowd, all popping in to grab a bite before plotting their next move. God bless ’em, because O’Reilly’s is all about convenience if nothing else—they open at 11am on weekdays and Saturdays, and noon on Sundays. This place marks a great escape from the Knicks fans that start pouring out of Madison Square Garden at the end of the third quarter. |
