 proud nuyorican it was one of my favorite hangouts.it was here that i had the pleasure of meeting algarin, miguel pinero, piri thomas and other famous nuyoricans. i was there from day one as my friend joe cardona and his girlfriend milagros lived next door to it. my grandson performed there 9 yrs. ago and i had the pleasure of seeing him perform at a place that i loved so much.ilive upstate now so its hard for me to get down there but i manage to once a while.
