While most celebrities head to rehab to mend their addictions, you’re better off heading to Nurse Bettie. And where better to fix (or rather satiate) your habits than with a sexy and petite lady named Bettie Paige? OK, so it’s a bar named after the pinup, but Nurse Bettie’s medicine is in the form of Zodiac calendar shots and potent martinis with names like Surly Shirley and Bombay Bettie. Sex is never cheap (even when it’s free), but at this chic rock ’n roll spot with hints of boudoir and a touch of burlesque, the drinks are as well-endowed as Bettie herself...and costs a hell of a lot less than Tom Sizemore’s rehab stint. We’re hooked.
I love this place. It’s so cozy I was there with my friends until closing this past Saturday night. Drinks are delicious and super cheap…and the hot bartenders from the now closed CBGB’s behind the bar make the night that much more enjoyable.

Pin-Up Fun
The exposed brick, old-school pin-ups, and cheap drinks make this a great weeknight destination for a quiet drink with friends. The Bombay Betties are sinfully good.

Peep Show
The specialty cocktails are really delicious and I love the entrance doors with the peep hole openings. Big enough for small crowds, yet too small for the masses...perfect!
