Nightingale Lounge
Not even Florence Nightingale can save this lounge from its snoring décor, elevator music, and lame-o crowd. In its heyday, Nightingale was one of the best dives in the East Village. Now that it’s a lounge, you’ll want to peace out to Brooklyn. When you saunter past the chocolate curtains, you’ll get your first taste of disappointment and wonder why you even came here. The only sliver of hope is the house drink—The Nightingale, an intriguing concoction of Malibu rum, Stolichnaya, strawberry, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curaçao, and pineapple juice. Down it, then head out to one of the dozens of way better lounges down the street.

Ouch.

The place isn't THAT bad. I've seen better reviews for lamer bars. Easy there, sparky!
